📍 FRONT-LINE UPDATE -🗺️ MAP LEGEND
Northeast Sector (Kupyansk to Svatove to Kreminna)
- 7 Russian ground attacks reported by Ukraine, but no major changes
- Unsuccessful Russian operations near Vesely, Rozdalivka (north of Bakhmut), and Bilohorivka (south of Kreminna)

Bakhmut Area
- Fighting continues on northern and southern flanks of Bakhmut
- Ukraine advanced 200-500m in unspecified areas
- Russians deploying airborne units to take over former Wagner positions
- Intense fighting reported near Klishchiivka and the canal area
- Russians may be trying to retake lost positions from last week
Avdiivka and Marinka
- Russians conducted unsuccessful attacks towards Avdiivka and Marinka
- Chechen Akhmat units withdrawn from Marinka, either to Primorsk or to assist with Kreminna evacuation
- Geolocated footage shows incremental Russian advances in western Marinka
Southern Front (Zaporizhzhia and Donetsk Oblasts)
- Heavy Ukrainian attacks behind Russian lines on Melitopol, Tokmak, Berdyansk, etc.
- Possible casualties among high-ranking Russian officers
- Russians conducting strictly defensive operations now
- Ukrainians making small gains but slowed by dense minefields
- Battles ongoing for Makarivka, moving to positional fighting
- Ukrainians fortifying Makarivka, clearing mines near Lobkove
- Russians defending west of Makarivka to protect Rivnopil
- Pyatykhatky and Novodarivka still contested
- Russian Ka-52 helicopters and Shahed drones active over the front lines
Wrap Up
In summary, incremental Ukrainian gains and positional battles reported in Zaporizhzhia and Donetsk, but no major breakthroughs yet. The Russian defense is tactically sound so far, but Ukraine is inflicting heavy attrition, with claims of a 5.3 to 1 loss ratio in their favor. Slow going, but this is the reality of a difficult counter-offensive against prepared defenses.
