📍 FRONT-LINE UPDATE -🗺️ MAP LEGEND

Kupyansk, Svatove and Kreminna
The Russians are pressuring Ukrainian forces and making some territorial gains near Kupyansk, Svatove and Kreminna. Fighting continues in Novoselivka, which has changed hands several times. Russian forces are concentrating airborne troops, infantry, and assault groups in this area, but likely with the aim to disrupt Ukrainian counteroffensive plans rather than make significant advances.

Bakhmut
Ukrainian forces continue counteroffensive operations north and south of Bakhmut and are advancing on the southern flank. There are conflicting claims about control of heights west of Klishchivka. Video footage suggests Ukrainians overlook Klishchivka and the Russians may be using smoke to cover a retreat. Russian VDV divisions are heavily mining areas around Bakhmut each night, slowing Ukrainian progress.
