He shares a despicable Telegram post from a pro-Russian channel celebrating the death of a 10-year-old boy in Kharkiv, saying he is now in hell. Jonathan plans to have a philosophical discussion about freedom of speech and whether we should welcome people with such views.

Military Aid
- Spain will deliver 6 more MIM-23 Hawk air defence launchers to Ukraine. These old but updated systems could act as a good stopgap if deployed widely.
- Germany has no plans to send Taurus missiles, possibly due to range concerns, but will send another Patriot air defence system which is very significant.
- Italy is preparing its 8th military aid package and working out the details.
- This year, the UK will train 30,000 Ukrainian soldiers including pilots and provide £500 million in humanitarian winter support.
- Sweden announced a €143 million aid package focused on ammunition, vehicle parts and infantry equipment. They are also checking if Gripen fighters can be sent.
- Lithuania will allocate €340 million to help Ukraine in 2024, showing sustained support.
- Japan will help restore Ukraine's agriculture through a joint working group.
Geopolitics
- Ukraine suspended its WTO complaint against Poland, Hungary and Slovakia over agricultural imports as a solution is expected soon.
- At a European summit, Zelensky held meetings with leaders of France, Armenia, Slovakia, Hungary and the King of Spain to discuss support for Ukraine. A frosty encounter with Hungary's Orban was noted.
- Ukrainian hackers admitted to conducting DDoS attacks that paralysed Russia's major airports recently.
- More European countries including Estonia will refuse to play against Russia in any international sports matches. FIFA seems to want Russia back involved.
- The US is exploring using State Department grants to bypass Congressional delays in approving Ukraine funding due to political chaos.
- Putin threatened that without Western military aid, Ukraine would only survive for a week, prompting criticism of politicians voting against support.
