Ukrainian Figures for Russian Losses
According to Ukrainian figures, Russian losses from yesterday include:
- 680 liquidated personnel
- 5 tanks
- 6 APCs
- 3 artillery systems
- 4 MLRS
- 4 drones

Northeast Frontline Update
- Not much news from Kupyansk, Dvorichna, Tavolzhanka areas. Jonathan has adapted his maps to show more Russian control around Dvorichna, Horobivka and Lyman-Pershyi.
- Russians repelled a Ukrainian attack towards Sofiyivka northwest of Svatove.
- Positional battles reported by Russians in Bilohorivka north of Kreminna. Fighting continues around Chervonopopivka and Ploshchanka but frontlines are not moving much, possibly due to weather.
Bakhmut Update
- Ukrainian counterattacks reported in Yakovlivka, Soledar and fighting around Pidhorodne.
- Not much news on fighting in forested areas north of Champagne winery.
- Ukrainians appear to have recaptured the waste sorting plant east of Bakhmut which provides good visuals over eastern suburbs.
- Conflicting reports on status of Opytne - Russians may have been pushed back several hundred meters by Ukrainian counterattack.
- Russians claim to control 70-80% of Yakovlivka but Ukrainians still have a foothold.
- Heavy fighting continues in eastern industrial areas of Bakhmut city itself. 60 mobilized Ukrainian troops arrived to reinforce.
- Jonathan highlights the strategic importance of Bakhmut as a stepping stone to Siversk, Slovyansk and Kramatorsk as well as a water supply canal.
Southern Frontline Update
- Not much news from Avdiivka, Opytne or Pisky areas.
- Fighting focused on Marinka where earlier Russian claims of controlling 80% appear to be exaggerated. Sources suggest Ukraine controls over half the town and has pushed Russians out of the center somewhat.
- South of Marinka, Ukrainian forces repelled Russian attacks around Pobjeda and Novomykhailivka.
- Situation around Pavlivka is fairly quiet with just routine artillery fire exchanges.
- In Kherson, the city remains under heavy Russian shelling. Ukraine struck Russian FSB bases in Zaliznyi Port and Novotroitske on east bank of Dnipro River.
