📍 FRONT-LINE UPDATE -🗺️ MAP LEGEND
Frontline Update: Kupiansk to Kreminna
- The Russians have made some gains around Sinkivka, pushing the Ukrainians back closer to the town.
- Heavy fighting reported in the Serebrianske Forest area, particularly near Dibrova.
- No significant changes around Bakhmut or Holivka, although the Russians are trying to push the Ukrainians back in Holivka.
Frontline Update: Avdiivka
- The situation remains challenging for the Ukrainians in Avdiivka, with the Russians attacking from six directions.
- The Russians claim to have captured the industrial zone southeast of Avdiivka and reached the town's southeastern outskirts.
- PMC forces, including the MOD-affiliated Radut, are reportedly involved in the fighting.
- The Ukrainians launched a successful counterattack and re-entered parts of Stepova, pushing the Russians back to the railway.
Frontline Update: Zaporizhzhia and Kherson
- Some Russian gains north of Novoprokopivka, but the Ukrainians pushed them back towards Kopani.
- Geolocated footage shows marginal Ukrainian advances south of Robotyne.
- The Ukrainians attacked towards Kopani but lost three vehicles. The Russians then counterattacked and recaptured a Ukrainian-held dugout between Robotyne and Novoprokopivka.
- No changes to the mapping in Kherson, which may become challenging for the Ukrainians the longer it remains static.
Russian Challenges in Kherson
Jonathan shares footage and quotes from Russian soldiers complaining about the difficult conditions and heavy losses they are facing on the Kinburn Spit and left bank of the Dnipro. One soldier suggests changing tactics and inviting the Ukrainians to attack their defensive lines instead. Jonathan believes this area could become an attritional meat grinder for the Russians, similar to Bakhmut, which may work in Ukraine's favour in the long run. However, if the Russians adopt a more defensive posture, they might be able to inflict heavy losses on Ukrainian forces attempting to advance.
