Belgorod Region Ambush
- Pro-Ukrainian Chechen fighters ambushed a Russian truck in the Belgorod region near the village of Sereda
- The Chechen fighters were likely using non-Western provided equipment
Kupyansk to Svatove to Kreminna Frontline
- Russians have taken territory in the grey zone/no man's land areas, but not necessarily Ukrainian-controlled ground
- Deputy Defense Minister Hanna Maliar says the Russian offensive on Kupyansk has been unsuccessful and initiative is on the Ukrainian side

Bakhmut Area

Avdiivka Area

Southern Frontline (Zaporizhzhia & Kherson Oblasts)

- Difficult to determine control of territory northwest of Robotyne due to conflicting information
- Russian sources claim heavy fighting continues at the Antonivsky Bridge area in Kherson with Ukrainians making limited gains
- Ukraine struck targets on the Kinburn Peninsula, possibly in preparation for an attempted crossing of the Dnipro

In summary, the Ukrainian counteroffensive is not having quick, easy successes so far. The Russian military, while struggling with morale and equipment issues, still has a large quantity of troops and is putting up stiff resistance and counterattacking to disrupt Ukrainian efforts, especially around Bakhmut.
