"Military equipment that cannot be destroyed has yet to be invented."
Hello Team!
Jonathan discusses the difficulty of getting accurate information about the active frontline due to tight Ukrainian operational security and limited information coming out formally from the Ukrainians. Most of the information is coming from pro-Russian sources focusing on Ukrainian losses. The lack of changes on the maps from pro-Ukrainian mappers like Deep State Map and Andrew Perpetua reflects this information gap.

📍 FRONT-LINE UPDATE -🗺️ MAP LEGEND
Northeast Sector (Kupiansk to Svatove to Kreminna)
- Russian forces claimed to have repelled three Ukrainian ground attacks in the Lysychansk direction (Bilohorivka area).
- Bilohorivka itself is largely destroyed. Its topography makes it difficult for Russians to make progress.
- Ukrainians conducted three counterattacks in the area, which is significant.
- Russians are unsure where Ukrainians will attack on the Luhansk front, according to Ukrainian officials.
Bakhmut Area
- 15 engagements were reported near Bakhmut on June 9th.
- Ukrainians made limited advances west of Berkhivka and towards Klishchiivka.
- Russians are still reinforcing the area to avoid losing the PR gain of capturing Bakhmut. However, there are claims they may be pulling out of some areas like Dubovo-Vasilyevka and Zaliznyanske to form more sensible defensive lines.
- A Russian ammunition dump was destroyed in Soledar.
- Klishchiivka may be the target of a larger Ukrainian assault in the next 24-48 hours.
Avdiivka Area
- Russian forces conducted limited unsuccessful ground attacks near Opytne, Severne, Nevelske, and Marinka.
- It's unclear if Avdiivka will play a significant role in the larger Ukrainian counteroffensive strategy.
Zaporizhzhia and Southern Donetsk Frontline
- This is the major area of Ukrainian counteroffensive activity. However, exact Ukrainian positions and progress are unclear due to tight operational security.
- Ukrainians likely made incremental gains, more than what Russian sources suggest.
- Key areas of activity: Velyka Novosilka, Neskuchne, Novodonetske, Novodarivka, Lobkove (now under Ukrainian control).
- Ukrainians are pressuring Russian defensive lines in multiple areas and directions.
- Geolocated footage showed marginal Ukrainian gains east of Blahodatne.
- Some footage of Russian forces retreating was released by Ukrainians.
