"This is why it is such a difficult project for the Ukrainians, given that they don't have air supremacy. You know, if you had air supremacy, you would just flatten this entire area with just bucket loads of bombs."
Hello Team!
Jonathan explains he was waiting for more data to come through before making this update. He shows his map key and notes this may be the last day Suriat Maps (pro-Russian) is included as they are taking a step back from mapping. Jonathan and JR (who helps with mapping) are considering alternatives like Rybar to show the Russian perspective alongside pro-Ukrainian mappers like Andrew Perpetua and DeepState.

📍 FRONT-LINE UPDATE -🗺️ MAP LEGEND
Northern Front - Kupyansk Sector
- Kenneth Gregg, a Finnish soldier in Ukraine, claims Russians stormed and took a Ukrainian position south of Vilshana. However, this contradicts Andrew Perpetua's map showing Ukrainian gains in the area.
- Russians have advanced towards Novoherivka according to several sources.
- Defmon sarcastically claimed Russians made major gains near Kupyansk and almost encircled the city, but clarifies this is not true based on geolocated evidence.
Bakhmut Area
- Clashes reported in the forest northwest of Bakhmut where there was activity over the last week.
- Ukrainians have gained an extra 350m in Klishchivka and now control approx. 80% of the settlement. The rest is considered a grey zone.
- A Russian bridge was destroyed by Ukrainian shelling east of Klishchivka along with a BMP-2, as geolocated by Andrew Perpetua. This road was a primary Russian supply route into the area that Ukraine is hitting hard.
- The railway line east of Klishchivka is also under pressure, making it increasingly difficult for Russians to hold the rest of the town.
Avdiivka-Donetsk Front
- Andrew Perpetua warns about Russian video manipulation, using an example from Marinka claiming a Russian tank advanced when the full video description states it retreated after moving behind Ukrainian lines alone.
- Kenneth Gregg claimed Russians reached western outskirts of Marinka, but this is unconfirmed. The town has been decimated over 1.5 years of fighting.
- Russian sources report a deteriorating situation for them south of Vuhledar near Novomyorsk to Yaryivka, with increased Ukrainian artillery, forces and drone usage.
Zaporizhzhia Front - Robotyne Area
- Kenneth Gregg claims Russia deployed elite 234th and 237th Airborne Assault Regiments to Robotyne as a "last card" to stop Ukrainian advance. He says the battle for Zaporizhzhia will be decided here and now.
- After capturing Russian trenches, Ukraine discovered tunnels used to move artillery unnoticed. Gregg says if Ukraine breaks through before winter, Russia's chances of winning are minimal. If not, it could become positional warfare.
- Anton Gerashchenko shared images of the extensive Russian fortifications east of Robotyne that Ukrainian forces overcame in grueling battles. The complex trench system was on an elevation optimal for defense.
- BBC reports from Saturday that Ukraine's 46th Air Assault Brigade said fighting continued near Russia's first line of defense, implying they hadn't breached the main trench line yet.
- War Gonzo claimed Ukrainians tried to break through east of Novopokrovka to Shevchenkove to flank heights that give a strategic advantage.
