- Ukrainian spokesperson Yevlash stated 110,000 Russian frontline, rear and support personnel are located in this direction in an attempt to pin down Ukrainian forces
- The 110,000 figure includes mechanics, cooks, logistics, command and control, and training personnel, not just frontline troops
Novoselivske
Footage shows a tank battle where two Russian tanks get into trouble. One is hit but the crew survives. The other Russian tank retreats. Russians were repelled to some degree in this Ukrainian counter-attack.

Bakhmut
- Ukrainian spokesperson claims the Bakhmut-Horlivka road is now under Ukrainian fire control, making Russian supply more difficult
- Ukrainians continue to attack on Bakhmut's southern flank with some successes near Klishchiivka, Kurdyumivka and Ozarianivka
- Capturing Andriivka and Klishchiivka allows Ukrainians to get closer to the Bakhmut-Horlivka highway
- Russian sources claim fighting is ongoing in parts of Klishchiivka and that they conducted unsuccessful counterattacks near Andriivka and Klishchiivka
- Ukrainians likely taking a breather after heavy fighting to capture Klishchiivka before potentially pushing to the next Russian defensive line
Avdiivka-Donetsk City Line
Russian sources claim they made limited advances and seized some Ukrainian positions at great expense, advancing 100-300 meters in fierce fighting.

Vuhledar-Velyka Novosilka Area
- Relatively quiet compared to recent activity
- Russians managed to expel Ukrainians from recently captured positions south of the Shartanka River near Novomayorsk, according to some sources
- Ukrainian probing attacks/reconnaissance in this area were repelled
- Ukrainians may be regrouping in this area
Zaporizhzhia-Donetsk Oblast Border Area
- Ukrainians confirmed to be operating armored vehicles (Strykers, Marders, M113s) beyond Russian anti-tank ditches and dragon's teeth obstacles near Vuhledar for the first time
- Vehicles geolocated in satellite imagery
- Ukrainians slowly pushing Russian defensive lines towards Vuhledar from the north and south
- If Ukrainians can break through and capture Vuhledar, it could allow them to get behind and roll up other Russian defensive lines in the area
- However, actually capturing Vuhledar will likely be very difficult as it is better defended than other settlements Ukrainians struggled to take
- This is the most heavily fortified part of the frontline but NATO may have advised a strategy of punching through with mass rather than attrition
Dnipro River Islands
Russian and Ukrainian forces continue to operate on islands in the Dnipro River delta. Both sides claim to have destroyed enemy special forces/reconnaissance groups on various islands.
