Front Line Update
- Russians have made small gains north of Bakhmut in the Vesely area, south of Siversk. This advance likely doesn't mean much strategically.
- South of Bakhmut, recent footage shows Russians retaking control of southern Klishchivka which was briefly held by Ukraine. The whole town is likely under Russian control.
- In Robotyne, Ukraine is having some success to the west and east of the town, as well as in Robotyne itself. War Gonzo, a pro-Russian blogger, claims Ukrainians have overcome the densest minefields around Robotyne but have not yet reached Russia's main defensive fortifications.
- In Kherson, at Kozatske and Laheri, there are differing claims about control of the western outskirts. Ukrainians are keeping quiet while most information is from Russian sources. A large Ukrainian vehicle column is reportedly heading to Kherson, likely to cross the river.
Priyutne Salient
The Priyutne salient stubbornly held by Russia is likely heavily mined along ravines and ponds, with only a few approach roads. Ukraine will need to robustly hold nearby settlements before attacking the salient from the east.

Impact of Shelling
Satellite imagery of Robotyne shared by Tatarigami_UA shows the drastic change in the town's appearance due to the immense amount of shelling it has endured over time.

Military Aid
- German Chancellor Olaf Scholz has reportedly confirmed Germany will transfer long-range Taurus missiles to Ukraine, according to Der Spiegel.
- Japan and the USA will announce joint development of interceptor missiles to counter Russian, Chinese and North Korean hypersonic missiles.
- Five more Shark intelligence drone complexes have joined Ukraine's armed forces to assist artillery brigades.
- Three Ukrainian state-owned factories have started producing first-person view drones, as the country aims to become a leader in the UAV market.
Russian Equipment to Front Lines
Footage shows a train with Russian multiple launch rocket systems and other vehicles heading to the front. However, the equipment appears to be in poor condition - some have flat tires, missing launchers, or hastily painted windows. This suggests Russia is struggling to send quality reserves to the front lines.

Geopolitical Subjects
- Controversy over claims that a Turkish civilian ship heading to a Romanian port was intercepted and boarded by Russian forces. If true, this would be a major escalation requiring a firm NATO response. However, some sailors claim the ship did not comply and the Russians are lying about a successful inspection.
- One of the Russian agents involved in poisoning Alexander Litvinenko in the UK in 2006 is reported to have advanced cancer himself from the radioactive substance used. This adds to evidence of Russian state involvement in the murder.
Correction
Jonathan corrects a previous statement, clarifying that Azerbaijan is not a member of the CSTO (Russia's equivalent of NATO) but may be a partner state. He apologises for the error and encourages viewers to point out any mistakes to improve accuracy.
