📍 FRONT-LINE UPDATE -🗺️ MAP LEGEND

Northeastern Sector and Kreminna
- No changes to the mapping in the northeastern sector until south of the Serebryansky Forest in Kreminna.
- Russian Western grouping forces in the Kubyansk direction have more personnel and equipment than the Central grouping in the Kreminna direction. However, the Central grouping maintains enough combat-ready units to conduct an offensive push.
- Ukrainian gains reported east of Bilohorivka by Surat Map, but likely a correction rather than a recapture of lost positions.
Bakhmut
- Russian forces have replenished their grouping in the Bakhmut area by redeploying elements of the 98th and 106th airborne (VDV) from the Liman direction.
- These VDV elements are mainly attacking towards Ukrainian rear areas in the north, possibly in the Kramove, Borynivka, Bukivka, Yehidne sector.
- Russians have changed the momentum and have the initiative in Bakhmut, putting pressure on Ukrainian forces. The question remains how many resources each side is willing to commit.
Donetsk Oblast - Holivka and Marinka
- Ukrainian gains reported in the Holivka-Pivdenne area of Donetsk Oblast, now controlling more territory than Russia has held since 2015.
- Russian army captured new blocks in Marinka, now controlling approximately 80% of the town according to Surat Map. This is a concern for Ukrainian forces.
Kherson and Krynky
- No changes to the maps around Kherson, but the situation remains difficult for Ukrainian forces due to Russian pressure.
- Russian sources report Ukrainian forces expanding their zone of control in western Krynky and pushing through the forest south of the settlement.
- A Russian fighter shares his experience near Krynky, highlighting harsh conditions, lack of equipment, and issues with command and coordination between units. He mentions relying on Wagner mercenaries for support.
- Ukrainian forces struck a gathering of the Russian 810th Marine Brigade during an award ceremony in the Kherson region, causing 25 deaths and 100 injuries.
Wrap up
Jonathan emphasizes the importance of considering Russian sources to understand the situation on the frontline. He believes the Russians are bringing in low-quality reserves due to a lack of options, which could provide opportunities for Ukrainian breakthroughs if they had more resources. Both sides are struggling to cover the entire frontline effectively.
