Military Aid
- 70 Ukrainian pilots and ground staff will undergo F-16 training in Denmark, with further groups to follow. Young pilots will go to the UK for longer training, starting with English lessons.
- The Pentagon says the US is ready to train Ukrainian pilots on F-16s if Europe lacks capacity. Ukraine has requested JASSM cruise missiles for F-16s.
- A source claims the US is slow-walking aid to Ukraine, with equipment sitting in storage or being scrapped that could be sent, and that leaders on both sides have let Ukraine down.
Greece and Bulgaria
- Greek PM says Greece wants to help rebuild Odessa's historic centre. Greece is not part of the cluster munitions ban and could provide Ukraine with stored M26 rockets.
- Zelensky outlines 5 outcomes from talks with Greece: joining aviation coalition, preparing military aid, assisting with Black Sea corridor, recovery of Odessa, and bilateral security guarantee talks.
- Bulgaria can supply Ukraine with about 100 Soviet armoured vehicles starting in late September.
Russian Mobilisation
A source claims a "ghost mobilisation" is underway in Russia, targeting Muslim migrants and ethnic Russians. A video allegedly shows "mobiks" rounded up near Moscow to be sent for brief training then to the front. The source says this shows a desperate "Stalingrad level" of defence.

Geopolitics
- Zelensky will meet with the Serbian president in Athens, which could be significant given Serbia's connections to Russia.
- Ukraine wants to use a new Black Sea corridor to export grain, after a successful ship evacuation along the coast.
- The BRICS summit is upcoming in South Africa. China wants to expand BRICS to extend its global influence, but this has "riled" India. Over 40 countries have expressed interest in joining.
- The US has advised citizens to leave Belarus immediately.
- Domino's Pizza is closing all outlets in Russia.
- The Hungarian president has arrived in Ukraine to visit Hungarian communities.
- Finland will cut off aid to countries supporting Russia, to make Russia a "pariah state".
