BREAKING: Russian General & 6 Officers Killed in Crash, An-72P Plane Destroyed on Runway

In a major blow to Russian military capabilities in occupied Crimea, Ukrainian FP-2 drones and the Unmanned Systems Forces, in coordination with Ukraine's Defense Intelligence, successfully destroyed multiple high-value targets. This precision strike eliminated four modern Orion drones, a pre-flight preparation base for Orion drones, an An-72P aircraft, and a mobile P-37 Mech radar system.

The operation also resulted in the death of Russian Lieutenant General Alexander Otroshchenko, commander of the Northern Fleet's Mixed Aviation Corps, and six officers aboard an An-26 plane crash on March 31, 2026. This marks the 14th Russian general eliminated since 2022.
