Hello Team!
Jonathan provides an update on the Ukraine war frontline for May 8th, 2023. Before going to the frontline, he reviews the ISW report which focuses on the power struggle between Wagner group financier Prigozhin and Chechen leader Kadyrov compelling the Russian military command to resume artillery ammunition distribution to Wagner forces in Bakhmut. This infighting raises questions about Russia's ability to coordinate a coherent defensive campaign.
