A Ukrainian named Alexei Goncharko gave an impassioned speech to the Hungarian parliament, inviting Prime Minister Orban to visit Ukraine to see the real war zones and devastation in places like Bucha, Gostomel and Irpin. He criticized Hungary's stance of supporting Putin and not helping refugees fleeing from war. Goncharko thanked other European countries for their humanity in accepting Ukrainian refugees and ended with a plea for people to be human, as it is the most important, albeit difficult, task in life.

Helping a Ukrainian Get Paid

Retired Australian General on Ukrainian Offensive
Retired Australian general Mick Ryan provided analysis on the current state of the Ukrainian counteroffensive:
- Progress has been slower than desired due to delays in foreign military aid and training requirements
- Ukrainians are fighting through deep Russian defensive positions based on Soviet/Russian military doctrine
- A broad front approach by Ukraine creates uncertainty for Russian commanders and allows for deception operations
- Russians are conducting limited offensive jabs in response, which Ryan had predicted, but this may not be sustainable
Prigozhin's Truth Bombs
In a series of videos, Wagner Group head Yevgeny Prigozhin made revealing statements about the realities on the frontlines:
- Russian army is retreating in Kherson and Zaporizhzhia while the AFU pushes forward
- No one at the top cares about soldiers' lives; the objective is all that matters
- Massive casualties are being hidden; for every soldier that should die, 10 are dying due to mismanagement and chaos
- Back in March, it was already clear Russia could not achieve its maximalist goals of taking Donbas or replacing Ukraine's leadership with the forces it had
Targeting Chaplynka
With the destruction of the Chonhar bridges from Crimea, 70% of Russian military traffic now has to go through the Perekop Isthmus, making the area around Chaplynka a prime target for Ukrainian forces. The town, which houses a repeatedly struck airbase, is well within HIMARS range. Trentalenko says the AFU is about to turn Chaplynka into a "Gimli's abattoir" of Russian logistics traffic.
